Well done to the new President of the IFA Joe Healy. With falling farm incomes your challenge will be to defend farmers at this time. It will be necessary to insure that farmers will see improvements in the running of the association. With an improved association you can gain the trust of the farmers again. A united association with the other farming organisations could give a united voice for Irish farming in this difficult time for farmers.
Farming affects the argi business sector as well. Successful argi business helps with our exports and they give us good jobs too. But now that the farmers have put their trust in you I hope the future will be bright.
