Hennessy and Ireland.

When people think of brandy and cognac they think of France. Ireland has a role in the French wine industry for centuries. The Hennessy family first set up their cognac business in the mid 18th century. The family is still involved in the business. The family came from Killavullen Co Cork. Killavullen is the next parish to Mallow in north Cork. You could say that Hennessy cognac is an Irish drink distilled from French grapes. There is alot of heritage in north Cork that had an influence on Ireland and the world and I think that tourist potential of this area could be explored more.
