FB_IMG_1408823914397Mallow gave birth to the great national leader Thomas Davis. This year 200 years ago Thomas Davis was born. The town and the nation will be celebrating this event. The town will be busy this month of October with events in honour of this great servant of Ireland.

Friday 10th the Thomas Davis commemoration stamp will happen in Mallow post office at 3 pm. Thursday 16th the there will be a primary schools night at St. James Church at 8 pm. On Tuesday 14th the Davis 200 a play for voice will be on Aemilian Theater at 8 pm. Friday 17th the Legacy of Thomas Davis will be at the Hibernation Hotel Mallow at 8 pm.

Well done to everyone involved in the events in honour of Thomas Davis this year.
