social democraacy todaay

We morn the death of President Nelson Mandela. We celebrate his life. To forgive is the hardest thing a person can do. Mandela’s embrace of his former oppressors into his new friends forged a new country. He was  ray of light in this dark world. He stood down from power after one term. After 27 years of jail in South Africa Nelson Mandela emerged with the same view of his country as the one he had when he entered jail. His vision was a South Africa were democracy reigns. The nation will become colour blind. Mandela was not a one off. We are all called to make this world a better place. Nelson Mandela left this world a better place than the world he was born in. Can we saw the same when we will leave this world? Rest in peace Madiba.
